Foliage Sertoma Club of Apopka was founded in June 1974 and is a branch organization of Sertoma Inc., in Kansas City, Missouri, visit www.sertoma.org/foliage. Our focus is to support speech and hearing impaired children.
Sertoma stands for: SERvice TO MAnkind
Our prayer is: "We Are Sertomans; God Help Us To Be Of Service To Mankind"
Our Mission Statement is:
Sertoma exists for the high and noble purpose of
"SERVICE TO MANKIND"
by communication of thoughts, ideas and concepts
to accelerate human progress in health, education,
freedom and democracy.

We focus our support on several non-profit organizations.
Sertoma Camp Endeavor
1. Sertoma Camp Endeavor is located in Dundee, Florida. Camp Endeavor allows speech and hearing impaired children to attend camp for 1 to 14 days with little or no expense to families. It is one of two camps in the country that give the hearing impaired children a camping experience. For more information visit: www.sertomacampendeavor.org
Sertoma Speech & Hearing Foundation of Florida
2. The Foliage Sertoma Club of Apopka supports the Sertoma Speech and Hearing Foundation of Florida in New Port Richey, Florida. To learn more about Sertoma Speech and Hearing Foundation of Florida you can visit their website at:

The Foliage Sertoma Club of Apopka also supports local programs:
a. Russell Home for Atypical Children
b. Ronald McDonald House
c. Florida Hospital Foundation
d. Boy Scouts of America annual fundraiser
e. Needy families at Christmas
f. The funding for children's hearing aids.
Throughout the year the Foliage Sertoma Club of Apopka holds fundraising events to support our Sponsorship Fund. Several events we work on are the Annual Cutie Pie, Little Miss Apopka and Miss Teen Apopka Pageants and Annual Christmas Parade. For more information go to Events in the index.
